Choir Report

Practices resumed again on 8th January and so far have been well attended.

We enjoyed taking part in the music during the Christmas season and it was good to have our new robes dedicated at the beginning of the Service of Nine Lessons and Carrols.  We would like to thank the Kirk Session and the Congregation for them.

A Date for Your Diary / Kitchen Calendar
Members of the Choir would like to make a token contribution towards the cost of the robes, and to do so are hosting an Evening of Light Musical Entertainment on Thursday 30th April in the Church Hall.  Tickets are priced £5, will include a cup of tea and home baking and will be on sale shortly.  We promise the emphasis will be on “light” music – strictly no Bach or Handel on this evening.  You may be surprised at the diversity of some of our fine upstanding choristers – hidden talents abound.  Please come along anyway on 30th April at 7.30pm in the Church Hall.
